I have been at a cloistered convent making cheese in the mountains of France for a few years now. Years later I discovered why no one was talking to me so I decided to leave. Upon my arrival to the world outside contemplation I discovered my blog has been offline for years. I’m back baby and I have a whole lot of stories to tell.

First, I have to talk about my time making cheese in a cloistered convent. It was interesting because the the location can only be accessed by mule. No cars, roads, telephone, cellular was anywhere to be found for miles. A monk would come up once a month to hear confession and pick up the cheese to take the market.

I never went to confession because I had nothing to confess to. The nuns would pet me in silence, which was fine with me. I would join them making cheese and going to the cave where the cheese was aged. I spent lot of my time chasing mice from the entrance of the cave. Good fun for a schipperke, but after a while the draw of adventure started to build within me.

One day, I said goodbye to the nuns but no one said anything back, it must be a cloister thing. I did tell them that they should really talk to each other because their cheese tasted like dirt, worst cheese I’ve tasted and I really like cheese. My attitude, bad cheese is better than no cheese at all. At least their cheese was better than Cheese Whiz, which isn’t bad in a pinch.

When I arrived home, I discovered a Bandit in the house. My first thought was to attack and scare the Bandit, but I soon discovered that she is my new sister.

Bandit

How dare they adopt a another dog without consulting me first. Ya, I might have been in the mountains of France with no way to communicate with me, but they still should have consulted with me. Bandit is okay as dogs go and I’m still the Prince of the house so I guess I’ll let her stay a while.

I still need to unpack my things and get my blog back up and running, no thanks to my tech support. I wanted to let the world know that I’m back and the adventures will start to begin again.
